REFERRALS
We would appreciate your faxing or emailing referrals including imaging results so that we may contact your patient promptly
Dr Yuen sees Insured patients in her rooms
Uninsured patients can be referred to the Royal Melbourne Hospital or Western General Hospital, Footscray and Sunshine where Dr Yuen or another neurosurgeon will see your patient
URGENT REFERRALS
Please let us know if your patient needs to be seen urgently and we will organise accordingly
Should you wish discuss your patient with Dr Yuen please do not hesitate to contact the rooms and she will get back to you as soon as possible
Alternatively, you can call The Royal Melbourne Hospital switchboard 9342 7000 and ask to be put through to Dr Yuen’s mobile and she will take your call if free
SCANS
We offer the service of organising an MRI or other required imaging and tests for your patient at no cost to them their initial consultation with Dr Yuen
In order to expedite your patient’s management, we ask that you ensure your patient has a CD or hard copy films of their MRI and/or other imaging and reports for the appointment. If films cannot be viewed on the day of their appointment, your patient may have to be rescheduled
COMMUNICATION
Dr Yuen always endeavours to be as clear as possible in her explanations for your patients and will send communication back to you soon as possible
